Series consists of files related to the duties of Managing Director H. Johannes Witteveen in fulfilling his public relations role for the IMF. Records include incoming and outgoing correspondence in response to requests for copies of speeches given by the Managing Director. These files are arranged in alphabetical order under the name of the external location or group to which the speech was delivered. Records include invitations to speak at dinners or deliver addresses to external relevant groups, seminars and conferences, and occasionally include the remarks or speeches made by other attendees of the event attended by the Managing Director., Series also consists of memoranda, correspondence, telegrams and cables that arrange and track the travels of the Managing Director on business around the world. Includes correspondence arranging social events in the region to which the Managing Director was traveling.
