Series consists of memoranda, correspondence, telegrams and cables that arrange and track the travels of Managing Director Per Jacobsson on IMF business. Includes official correspondence to expedite customs clearance and correspondence arranging social events in the region to which the Managing Director was traveling. Files also contain schedules and itineraries for the Managing Director, including an itinerary for his trip to Europe in 1959, and records related to his travel to India and Japan (1958) and Latin America (1957). Series also includes internal Executive Board documents discussing policy related to the travel of the Managing Director, as well as documents giving approval for the Director's travel. Forms are included that show the travel authorizations and travel allowances for the Managing Director.
