Contains records made and received by the BURBP in the course of compiling and disseminating balance of payment data. With the transfer of the balance of payments responsibilities from the Research Department (RES) to the Bureau of Statistics in 1977, Division Chief Arie Bouter appears to have brought records with him from the RES, thus there is material in the sous-fonds before 1977. Records are arranged in the following four series: BURBP Division Chief Arie Bouter Chronological Files, BURBP Chronological Files, BURBP Subject Files, and BURBP Country Files.
