The Publications Files Series contains the files of Jaques.J. Polak as a writer, editor, presenter and commentator. Also works of other writers. The period covered includes pre-International Monetary Fund, as well as his publications while on staff at the IMF, and also his period of tenure on the Executive Board representing the constituency of The Netherlands. In many cases these files contain the publication itself, together with related correspondence and references. The files dated 1955-1957 provide context to work at the IMF and the Group of Ten at a period when Polak first developed what came to be known as the Polak Model.
