Series contains records created and maintained by the Immediate Office in the course of participating in missions to member countries, gathering country data, preparing reports, and reviewing internal documents and/or policy developed by other departments. Approximately 119 countries are represented in this series. There is a significant volume of country documentation specifically dealing with Bangladesh, Congo (formerly Republic of Zaire), Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kenya, Korea, Morocco, Philippines, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, and Zambia., Includes: copies of Executive Board documents, primarily relating to Stand-By Arrangements and Article XIV consultation reports as well as Use of Fund Resources (UFR) missions involving matters of fiscal concern; copies and drafts of staff reports and briefing papers (some co-authored by FAD staff); internal memoranda, including original back-to-office mission reports and comments on draft reports; memoranda to IMF Resident Representative and member country officials; copies of minutes of meetings with country officials, cables; working papers; and occasionally country summary or fact sheets and fiscal data tables. Topics of interest include fiscal policy, fiscal outlook and measures, tax policy, tax structure, income and expenditure, exchange rate policy, and Extended Fund Facility Arrangements.
