Series consists of the chronological files maintained and/or created by Graeme F. Rea in his capacity as Deputy General Counsel, Legal Department and covers the period 1979-1984. Records are drafts of legislation and draft reports, showing the development of IMF policy; drafts of agreements; editorial comments and critiques regarding papers and documents of other Legal staff members; correspondence, including correspondence with the Director and other Legal Department staff; recommendations to the Director; memorandum to file; and, correspondence with external organizations and individuals.
