Series consists of photographs authored by IMF photographers of IMF staff and management socializing and delivering speeches during "New Staff Tea" events, from 1954 through 2001. Each New Staff Tea generally includes members of management and senior staff delivering speeches, greeting new staff members, and engaging in conversation. Photographs also include new staff members posing in front of various features of the IMF headquarters building., Photographs (prints, negatives) have been kept in their original order and are arranged in chronological order by year and date. For preservation reasons, the photographs are stored according to format and size in 2 archival boxes as follows: Box 1: 4x5 inch negatives and 4x5 and 4x6 inch prints; and Box 2: 35mm and 120 film negatives. Descriptions for each year of New Staff Tea events are available at the subseries level. Individual names are listed where they have been identified.
