- Form und InhaltSubseries consists of photographs of the Twenty-Second Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Board of Governors of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (now the World Bank Group), held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from September 25 through September 29, 1967. Authored by commercial photographers (see note regarding 3/12/1971 memo), subseries includes photographs of delegate arrivals; Governors and their affiliates seated in meeting space; receptions, luncheons, and other social events including a fashion show. There are also photographs of regional sites and technical photographs documenting facilities and office space used by the attendees., Photographs (prints and negatives) have been kept in their original order as found in a box of photographs grouped by event type; five photo albums including the Annual Meetings Chairmen, IMF Managing Director, World Bank President, and Governors and their affiliates; and corresponding negatives. All of the prints and negatives have been assigned a numerical designation by the photographer and, except the five photo albums, have been arranged in ascending order. The prints are organized in thirty files according to their original groupings. Each album file includes photographs grouped together in mylar sleeves that were numbered by the archivist to reflect the original order within the original sleeves, including the following: [File 20] Album 1 [1-16]; [File 21] Album 1 [17-38]; [File 22] Album 2 [1-12]; [File 23] Album 2 [13-25]; [File 24] Album 3 [1-12]; [File 25] Album 3 [13-25]; [File 26] Album 4 [1-18]; and [File 27] Album 5 [1-18]. The next file, [File 28] Rio Dignitaries-Photograph-Opening Day, consists of oversize photographs (11x14 inches) inlcuding a group photo of senior-level attendees and a related photograph of the same group super-imposed over a view of the conference center. [File 29] inlcudes a memo from D.E. Brantley to Miss [Marie] Stark covering ownership of Annual Meetings photographs from the 1967, 1969, and 1970 Annual Meetings photographs. [File 30] [Technical Photographs], includes photographs of the conference center, office space, and other interior views. The corresponding negatives for the prints are individually housed and arranged according to type in an ascending numerical arrangement in three groups. The first group consists of black and white negatives and is numbered 1 through 2037. The second group consists of color negatives and is numbered 1 through 168. The third group, attributed to a luncheon given by a Mr. Rosen, consists of black and white negatives, numbered 1 through 30.
