Series consists of subject files of John Williamson, Advisor, Research Department (1972-1974). Subjects covered by Williamson's files include the Committee of Twenty, in which he was actively involved (this includes his involvement in working parties of the C-20); Special Drawing Rights interest rates, and monetary reform issues. Committee of Twenty documents include both documents issued by the Committee of Twenty as well as documents written by Williamson about the activities of the Committee of Twenty. The Committee of Twenty was concerned with the reform of the international monetary system in the wake of the collapse of the Bretton Woods system of fixed but adjustable exchange rates., Types of materials in this series include correspondence, memoranda, Board documents, handwritten notes, conference papers, cables, documents of the Committee of Twenty, and minutes from meetings. Files are arranged alphabetically, and documents are arranged in reverse chronological order within each file.
