Series contains the Office of the Managing Director's files concenring the departments, bureaus and offices of the Fund. They cover the organization and functions of the various departments, bureaux or offices but also major correspondence exchanged between heads of departments and Managing Director concerning the activities of their department. Of particular interest for the period are the files concerning the new Policy Development and Review and Monetary and Exchange Affairs Departments, the Europe II Department and the establishment of an Evaluation Office in the Fund.
