Series consists of files for missions to Uzbekistan combined with some general files (administrative and economic subject files). These files reflects aspects of IMF missions conducted in this country (Article IV Consultation, pre-membership economic review, staff visit, Use of Fund Resources, review under Stand-by Arrangement), collaboration with other IMF departments on technical assistance (FAD, MAE), collaboration with other institutions (World Bank, OECD) and the information gathering activity performed by the desk economists (conferences and seminars, annual meetings, inter-enterprise arrears, monetary policy, etc) We find a wide range of document types: from tipically mission documents (like background material, briefing paper, minutes, back-to-office report and/or report to management, correspondence, etc.) to letters/cables/reports/data tables from authorities, notes/data tables/memoranda to files prepared by desk economists, etc., all of these reflecting the activity of the Division.
