Subseries consists of photographs of the Second Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Board of Governors of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (now the World Bank Group), held in London, England from September 11 through September 17, 1947. Authored by commercial photographer KRONGOLD (London) and the Photographic Reproductions Branch of the Air Ministry, the subseries includes photographs of sessions, receptions, and the facilities used by attendees at the Institute of Civil Engineers (One Great George Street, London, England). Many of the photographs feature IMF and IBRD senior staff and members of the Boards of Governors., Photographs (prints and copy negatives) have been kept in their original order and are individually housed and numbered ([1], [2], [3], etc.) in ascending order to reflect their original arrangement as found in one of two photo albums. Photographs have been filed in groups to reflect designations made by the album creator according to the Annual Meetings event or the photographer's film reel. The back of each photograph has the photographer's stamp that includes credit information and the reel and frame number for each photograph.
