- Ámbito de contenidoSeries consists of the chronological files of the African Department’s East African II Division (referred to as the Mideast Africa Division until May 1, 1988). Records consist primarily of outgoing letters, memoranda, and cables exchanged among staff within the East African II Division as well as distributed to Fund staff in other departments, the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director, and member country authorities. Files reference general administrative issues, division work programs, the coordination of missions, and the circulation of papers for comment by division staff. Member countries most frequently referenced include Tanzania, Burundi, Malawi, Rwanda, and Uganda. While earlier files contain only the yellow chronological copies of correspondence, later files often include the attachments sent out with the correspondence. Files are arranged chronologically across the series with documents arranged by authoring staff member within most files.
