Scope and Content
Fonds contains records maintained by the Immediate Office of the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) since its establishment in 1963 and records documenting the activities of five of its Divisions. The largest portion of the records relates to one of FAD's key function in providing technical assistance missions to member countries, mostly developing countries. Files also document FAD's participation in other IMF missions, research studies and monitoring of fiscal issues, participation in meetings and conferences, and establishing and maintaining departmental collaboration and coordination of fiscal matters with other international organizations such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Organization of American States (OAS).
