As a part of preparations, Professor Harold James of Princeton University was commissioned (March 22, 1992-December 30, 1994) by the IMF to write the history of postwar international monetary cooperation under the leadership of the International Monetary Fund. Records in this series include: correspondence on the selection and commission of the historian; correspondence from members of the Editorial Panel charged with the responsibility for reviewing James’ manuscript; administrative material regarding the preparations for the anniversary celebration; and, correspondence regarding the Bretton Woods Conference in Madrid. Files are arranged alphabetically.
