Series consists of photographs authored by IMF photographers of events related to the signing of the Articles of Agreement, from 1989 through 1995 and 2002. Events generally include flag ceremonies, formal signing events, press conferences, and social events (e.g., luncheons) including country representatives and IMF management. Countries represented include: Albania, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brunei, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Timor, Eritrea, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Marshall Island, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Namibia, Russia, San Marino, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. IMF management present in the photographs include former IMF Managing Directors Michel Camdessus and Horst Köhler; Deputy Managing Director Richard Erb; and Jacob Frenkel, Manuel Guitian, Michael Mussa, and Leo Van Houtven. Gaps include Articles of Agreement photographs from 1996 through 2001., Photographs (negatives and corresponding contact sheets) have been kept in their original order as established by IMF photographers and are arranged chronologically by year and then date. Negatives (found in box 1) are organized in eight groups and represent the following years and countries: 1989 Angola; 1990 Czechoslovakia, Namibia, Bulgaria; 1991 Mongolia, Albania; 1992 Lithuania, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Marshall Island, Estonia, Armenia, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, San Marino; 1993 Tajikistan, Micronesia; 1994 Eritrea; 1995 Brunei; and 2002 East Timor., Contact sheets (found in box 2) are organized by year in archival sleeves (placed in archival file, [File 1]) and include contact sheets for the following years and represented countries: 1989 Angola; 1990 Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Namibia; 1991 Albania; 1992 Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Estonia, Marshall Islands, Armenia, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, San Marino; 1993 Tajikistan, Micronesia; and 1994 Eritrea., Textual records include IMF photo logs and a 2002 IMF and World Bank Group Membership Schedule of Meetings for the Democratic Republic of East Timor.
