Fonds consists of records created and or received by the Bureau of Computing Services from its creation in 1982 to 1989. Records reflect the period where the IMF began large scale automation of its work. At this time at the IMF, computer services moved beyond mainframes, microcomputers and centralized data centers, to further include systems or network technology and personal computers where using a computer became a part of staff’s everyday work activities.
