Fonds comprises records documenting the IMF’s surveillance activities, including country assessments, consultations with member authorities, analytical work, policy evaluations, and related reporting. Records include mission documentation, background papers, analytical studies, correspondence, briefing materials, and supporting documentation generated in the course of surveillance activities. The fonds excludes Executive Board decision‑making records and records created solely for internal administrative purposes, which are described elsewhere.
