Subseries consists of photographs of the Forty-Fourth Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Board of Governors of the World Bank Group (formerly the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development), held in Washington, DC from September 26 through September 29, 1989. Authored by IMF photographers subseries includes senior-level attendees participating in meetings, delivering lectures, and giving press conferences. Images also include demonstration/protest photographs., Photographs (negatives and prints) have been kept in their original order and are arranged in four groups with each roll of film being assigned an alphabetical or numerical designation. Groups include: [Per Jacobsson] Foundation-Dr. J.L. Abbey, 1-38, A-Y, and [1-36]. Negatives and prints are stored separately. Gaps include: negatives for film rolls 7, 21, 22, 23, C, E G, O, W, and [31-35]; contact sheets for film rolls 15.1, 15.2, C, E, O, V, and [36].
